This classic fixture was especially designed to ensure that it does not cause an explosion in places where high concentrations of flammable gases, vapours, or dust occurs. It consists of a casing fitted with a heat-resistant safety glass, and a removable cage. While most of the fixtures in this ‘family’ have a mounting-ring embedded in the cast-iron body, the lamp has a detachable ring that can be screwed onto the body. It comes with 1.5 meters of neoprene cable and an E27 halogen bulb.

This pair of model Nova pendant lamps was designed by Jo Hammerborg in the 1960s for the Danish lighting manufacturer Fog & Mørup. The model was produced in three different metals: copper, brass, and aluminum. These are the brass version. On the inside, the lamp is lacquered yellow, white and grey to create a warm glow when illuminated. The lamps have been rewired with 2 m of white fabric cord.
